PRESS RELEASE
Mixtikl 4.0 Generative Music Lab, Modular Synth, Arp & 12 Track Mixer
Mixtikl™ revved to V4 "Lab", with Noatikl parameter & pattern editing
July 9th 2011, UK: Intermorphic Ltd today releases Mixtikl 4.0 Generative Music Lab for Apple® iPhone®, iPad®, iPod touch®, Mac OS® and Microsoft® Windows®. V4 is a major FREE update to Mixtikl V2.x/V3.x and features live & inline editing of core Noatikl generative music parameters. This release means completely custom generative music mixes, note patterns & modular syth sounds & fx can be tweeted as "mixtikls". Tweeted "mixtikls" can also be enjoyed with Mixtikl Free.
In concert with the Mixtikl 4 feature enhancements, Intermorphic™ has further revised the Mixtikl file format to include support for the additional Noatikl parameter customisations, including note patterns, which are included in the tweetable mixes. This means that truly unique mixes, arrangements, riffs and arps can be created and tweeted for others to listen to, enjoy, remix or edit, and even retweet. When the tweet link is selected on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with Mixtikl installed, Mixtikl loads and the mix plays. When the tweet is selected on Windows or Mac PC with Mixtikl installed, the Mixtikl browser plug-in plays the mix.

About Intermorphic:
Intermorphic Ltd develops creativity tools to allow people to "play with ideas". It was co-founded in 2007 by Pete Cole and Tim Cole. The Cole brothers have a history in music software innovation: they co-founded SSEYO in 1990 and from then to 2001 they created and worked on the "Koan Generative Music" system, as used by Brian Eno for his seminal 1996 "Generative Music 1". Following Tao Group's acquisition of SSEYO in 2001, they created the intent Sound System (iSS) and "SSEYO miniMIXA", one of the first mobile music mixers, and an early precursor to the new and more innovative Mixtikl V3. They secured the IP rights to the iSS and SSEYO software in Q2 2008. Mixtikl V1 for Windows Mobile was released in 2008, and Mixtikl V2 for iPhone in 2009 followed by 14 free updates before Mixtikl 3 was released May 2011 and then Mixtikl 4 in July 2011. Intermorphic also develops the Noatikl "reflective" generative MIDI music system, and the Liptikl song, music &, rap lyrics generator and cut-up word arranger.
